Join NOMAS at the Univ of Utah for the 20th Annual Men’s Studies Institute (Thursday 8/21/08), and 21/2 more full days of, workshops, keynotes, cultural events and general discussion (Friday and Saturday, 8/22 &8/23/08) on the issues surrounding men and masculinity in the 21st century. Nationally noted speakers and panelists will conduct sessions on topics including men’s role in domestic violence work; anti-racist, anti-sexist community organizing models, domestic violence in the LGBT community, co-option of shelter services/dilemmas/challenges in domestic violence shelters, multicultural feminist counseling models, and working with youth exposed to violence.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing. There is a $25 fee for cancellations received before July 15, 2008. Cancellations received after August 13, 2008 will be refunded at 50% of total paid.
